All for love!

Today was a much needed relaxing day. Although it was still busy busy, it was good! I got an unexpected phone call from him today! It was a staticy one, could hardly make out what he was saying, it lasted 3 mins and 22 seconds. My heart melted when I heard the words "I have to go, I love you".. He just wanted to check on me, he did tell me to try to have a good day, I told him it was going great! I think he feels I'm going crazy without him. But the thing is we live states away from each other already so Im used to this separation, its the lack of communication I hate. I keep myself busy, and do things FOR him even though we cant talk.. I have been getting a care package ready for him, and been writing a letter a day.. I wonder if maybe hes the one who needs the reassurance by hearing my voice. This is new to us so who knows!

During a devotional for today, I came across the verse "May the Lord keep watch between you and me when we are away from each other" Genesis 31:49... I pray he is keeping God on his mind throughout this "adventure". Its very easy for us to get caught up throughout our day and not think or thank God for everything. Him being a marine, he isn't around many Christian guys.. a lot of.. well you know. I only pray he can meet a good Christian guy to have him be his accountability partner and reminder of his faith. Back home, thats me! The Lord will keep watch over both of us, even though we are apart. It makes me feel at ease though.
